Project Description:
This ultra high-end condo project in downtown Aspen required full Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Engineering services. The building is comprised of 9 residential units, a commercial kitchen with restaurant and bar, private parking garage, game room, gym, board room, custom chilled wine cabinets, theater, locker room and a rooftop lounge with a bar and multiple spas. The MEP systems for the building consist of a central air handling unit with VAV boxes for common spaces, fan coil units in the residences, a
central high efficiency condensing boiler plant, a central air-cooled chiller plant and approximately 10,000 SF of exterior snowmelt. Other systems include humidification for improved comfort, parking garage ventilation, exhaust systems, heat rejection systems, elevator hoist way venting, sand/oil separator, grease interceptor and multiple lift stations. The mechanical control system consists of a custom whole building integrated DDC system.
