Rader Engineering is a full service Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Consulting Engineering Firm. We have extensive experience with projects of all types, including recreation, commercial, education and residential.

Drew
Drew was raised in Ohio and studied the violin at age 5 and learned to ski at age 6. He received his BSME from The Ohio State University. He will tell you that skiing was always more fun than practicing the violin and he finally moved to Colorado in 1991 to further pursue his engineering profession and be able to enjoy skiing in his back yard. He started Rader Engineering in 1995 and has his Professional Engineering license in Colorado and several other western states. He also enjoys biking, piloting his single engine aircraft and travel. Drew was also a lift inspector for the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board from 2000 – 2022 while successfully running and growing his engineering company. Drew’s motto is to work hard and play hard.
Adam
Since childhood, Adam has had a passion for all things mechanical. While many kids wished for a PlayStation for Christmas, he asked for a welder. Over the years, Adam has restored two boats and a 1966 Mustang. In his free time, he enjoys skiing with his wife on Aspen’s four mountains or working on home renovations, a project that feels perpetually ongoing. For Adam, engineering is more than just a profession; it’s a core part of his identity.
AJ
AJ is a highly driven individual, constantly setting and achieving ambitious goals, whether in his professional life or in his personal pursuits. Recently, he earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado, a significant milestone in his career. He’s also a passionate endurance athlete, having completed the challenging 40-mile Teton Crest Trail in a single day. Outside of work and racing, AJ thrives on adventure. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors, whether it’s taking his lightly modified 4×4 off-roading, camping, gravel cycling, or spending long days running and scrambling through the mountains.
Josh
Josh was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley. Throughout his life, Josh has always been around the construction industry. Whether it be home remodels, grandpa’s construction company, grandma’s flooring business, or his brother’s construction company, building and expanding his community has been integral to his personal and professional growth. Outside of the office, Josh enjoys competing in and watching sports, spending quality time with family and friends, and playing a wide variety of video games.
